Resistance is a stat that is aging very well. It used to not be very sought after, as the vast majority of Raid Shadow Legends revolved around Speed and Accuracy. We have been getting things added to the game that really increase the viability of high resistance champions, like Hydra, more defensive styles in Classic Arena, Tag Team Arena, and now this new dungeon with a new boss where I feel high resistance will be very crucial.

I have laid out a simple chart here that shows the champions in the game who can bring team-wide resistance buffs to the table. These champs may be worth a look to bring a crucial aura or buff when it comes time to build teams for this fight.

Resistance is going to be so crucial because of the Iron Brand debuff that this boss will place on your team. It cannot be blocked, and it cannot be removed once it’s placed, but it CAN be RESISTED. On its own, the Iron Brand debuff doesn’t do anything, but it does pair with another ability that will hit insanely hard if the stack duration number gets too high.

Since we will have to build a few different teams most likely, based on how the affinity system of this dungeon works, make sure you’re ready to have plenty of resistance ready to go and at your disposal when building teams for success in this fight.

Resistance gains value in Raid. Once overshadowed by Speed & Accuracy, new content boosts high-resistance champions' viability in various modes.

Episode 2 starts out with a now more grown up Athel, who is training fighting capabilities with a man in a large Sacred Order hall. This man that Athel is training with is <a href="https://aftershockunited.gg/raid/champions/inquisitor-shamael" target="_blank">Inquisitor Shamael</a> from in-game. The last time we saw Athel, was when Galek had dropped her off at the steps of the Sacred Order.&nbsp;

While Athel is training with Shamael, Godseeker Aniri storms into the hall very clearly upset. Athel is called over and scolded for having forbidden tomes, that contain heresy, in her private quarters. She is commanded to reflect on what she has done and pray for absolution while being punished in solitary.

While in solitary confinement, Athel gets a vision from Lumaya that shows her the Lost Library, and explains that there is a truth contained which the Sacred Order has since forgotten. Finding this truth is Athel's true purpose.

Athel seems to receive some sort of blessing from Lumaya when their hands touch, and then we see Athel's capabilities vastly improve in the real world. She is now performing way better in training, and it seems that some people like Shamael in the Sacred Order may be getting jealous of her high performances.&nbsp;

Shamael stumbles upon Athel while she is studying some sacred text, and a minor confrontation ensues where Shamael accuses Athel of getting so strong by using dark magic. Athel explains that she is not using any dark magic, but instead is pursuing the truth as she was instructed by the Arbiter, a being created by Lumaya to guide them. Athel accuses Shamael of not being concerned for her, and instead driven by jealousy, so she claims she does not need him anymore and walks away.

When Athel is beginning to embark on her new journey to pursue the sacred truth, she is confronted by the guards. They begin to attack her because abandoning her oath the covenant is punishable by death. During the fight with the guards, Athel is overpowered, but before she can be fatally struck, she is rescued by Shamael who blocks for her and helps her overcome the guards.

As they escape the keep, Athel thanks Shamael and invites him to join her to do this journey together. Shamael respectfully declines, claiming that his is her journey, but instructs her to "never drop her guard" because the Godseeker will be surely coming after her. The episode ends with Shamael saying goodbye with "may the Godess guide you", and we see Athel running off into the distance to begin her journey.

Dungeons Raid

Iron Twins Dungeon

The Iron Twins dungeon in Raid Shadow Legends is one of the most challenging encounters within the game. It is home to the fearsome Iron Twins, a single encounter dungeon, meaning there are no waves to beat as the boss is the only enemy you will face. Beating the Iron Twins dungeons requires not only a good amount of end-game gear (up to 600 accuracy is required for landing debuffs on the highest stage) but also some unique champions such as Geomancer in order to clear it much faster than usual.

The dungeon resets every day with the unique feature compared to other dungeons that only 6 keys can be used each day with a key being used up every time you manage to beat the boss. If you fail to beat the boss, the key is return and you can attempt again but the energy cost to do so ramps up so don’t attempt this boss without a strong team as your failed attempts will quickly deplete your energy.

The Iron Twins can be beaten up to 12 times every day as 6 more keys can be bought for the price of 150 gems. It is highly recommended that players do not refresh this dungeon unless they are confident, they can beat the highest difficulty but also have a good source of gems they can acquire every day (Daily Gem pack or other gem purchases). and players must employ unique strategies to defeat these formidable bosses. The dungeon is known for its daily reset feature, changing its affinity each day.

By completing this dungeon, players can earn valuable resources such as Soul Coins and Soul Essence, which are needed for Awakening their champions. Awakening unlocks the true potential of champions and allows players to enhance their abilities.

Potion Keeps

The potion keeps in Raid Shadow Legends are special dungeons where players can farm potions for Champion&nbsp;Ascension, a process that enhances the power and capabilities of their champions.

There are five types of potions, each corresponding to a different colour and affinity type:

	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Arcane Keep - Arcane Potions (White Colour) – Open Everyday</li>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Spirit Keep - Spirit Potions (Green Colour) – Open every Monday &amp; Thursday</li>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Force Keep - Force Potions (Red Colour) – Open every Tuesday &amp; Friday</li>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Magic Keep - Magic Potions (Blue Colour) – Open every Wednesday &amp; Saturday</li>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Void Keep - Void Potions (Purple Colour) – Open every Sunday</li>
</ul>

&nbsp;

Each potion keep has multiple difficulty levels, and players can farm these dungeons to obtain potions of different rarity&nbsp;Lesser, Greater, and Superior. The higher the difficulty level, the better the chances of obtaining potions of higher rarity.

To successfully farm the potion keeps, players can use specific champions that are known to be useful in these dungeons. Although each dungeon has its own strategy in beating them, Potion Keeps generally become easy to beat even on Stage 20 which is the highest difficulty by the time any player has built a solid team of 5 champions equipped with at least 5-star gear and masteries.

Farming the potion keeps is necessary so that players can accumulate the necessary potions to Ascend their champions. Ascension is crucial for improving the overall power and effectiveness of champions, allowing them to reach higher levels and unlock additional skills and abilities and sometimes even higher base stats.

Minotaur's Labyrinth

The Minotaur's Labyrinth is a challenging dungeon where players can farm Mastery Scrolls for their champions. Mastery Scrolls are used to unlock masteries for champions making them even more formidable in battles and providing unique power boosts through Tier 6 masteries such as Warmaster and Giantslayer through the Offense Tree.

The dungeon rewards Mastery Scrolls according to the difficulty you are trying with Stage 15 being the highest difficulty awarding the most Master Scrolls per run randomly to one of the party. If only one member of the party is missing masteries, then all scrolls will be earned by that champion until they reach the maximum number of scrolls.

The highest amount of scrolls any champion can acquire are:

	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">600 Advanced Scrolls</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px; margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">950 Divine Scrolls</li>
</ul>

Farming the Minotaur's Labyrinth for Mastery Scrolls can be a time-consuming process, as it requires a significant amount of energy a player can spend on average 2200 energy or about 640gems to acquire all scrolls for one champion assuming you can farm Stage 15. Some players may choose to spend 800 gems (the in-game currency) to avoid spending energy and skip the farming process but it is not recommended as it is less efficient in terms of gem cost.

Artifact and Accessories Dungeons

In order to power up your champions you need to equip them with strong Artifacts and Accessories! The only way to farm for high-rarity gear pieces (epic, legendary and mythical) is through farming the following dungeons:

Each dungeon has its own unique difficulties and recommended strategies but some general tips to have in mind are:

<ul>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">In order to apply debuffs such as Decrease Defense try to have at least 8-10 accuracy points per Stage that you are attempting to defeat. (160-200 accuracy for Stage 20)</li>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Beginners should focus on farming Stage 13 in order to start getting 6 star pieces of gear.</li>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Focus on farming Stage 16 or higher in order to stop getting Mystery Shards or Ascension Potions in the loot of each dungeon you beat.</li>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Focus on farming Stage 20 or higher in order to only get 5 or 6 star gear.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px; margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Hard Dungeons should only be attempted if you have a comfortable team already for Normal Dungeons and you are looking to get Mythical gear pieces.</li>

Sand Devil’s Necropolis

Sand Devil's Necropolis is the latest end-game dungeon released in December 2022 and offers players an opportunity to farm Oil to ascend their artifacts. Artifact Ascension is the new feature added to the game which allows players to enhance their gear and improve their champions' performance.

There are three types of Ascension Oil:

<ul>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Lesser Oil. Used to Ascend Artifacts to Levels 1 and 2 of Ascension.</li>
	<li style="margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Greater Oil. Used to Ascend Artifacts to Levels 3 and 4 of Ascension.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px; margin-left: 8px; text-align: justify;">Superior Oil. Used to Ascend Artifacts to Levels 5 and 6 of Ascension.</li>
</ul>

The Sand Devil’s Necropolis features another single boss encounter like the Iron Twins and the Spider’s Den. This encounter is extremely hard and not recommended to be attempted by the majority of players until they reach the end game&nbsp;as gear ascension is only required once you have a good amount of gear already farmed and ready to be improved.

The strategy for beating the Sand Devil's Necropolis may vary, but there are multiple strategies available by utilizing champions that can apply the Sleep debuff to the boss as well as utilizing strong reviver Champions such as Duchess or champions with Revive on Death abilities such as Mothe Cybele.

(Unknown Dungeon)

This dungeon although available to look at in the Dungeon Mode page has not been released yet as of May 2023. It is expected that this dungeon will be similar in difficulty to the Sand Devil’s Necropolis and feature another area where Players will be able to farm resources similar to Oils in order to ascend their accessories.

Dungeons are a big part of what makes Raid Shadow Legends special. 12 different dungeons are available each featuring a different boss encounter and loot.

Guaranteed Summon Events are one of the best opportunities&nbsp;Raid Shadow Legends players have to improve their accounts. Players have an chance&nbsp;to get a guaranteed Rare, Epic, or Legendary champion&nbsp;for the specified number of Ancient, Void, or Sacred shards. These events are special and happen periodically,&nbsp;so it is best to save as many shards as you can for when they are active.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Typically the event requires you to summon a number of either Ancient, Void, or Sacred Shards. The&nbsp;Michinaki Summon Rush Event was a new style of Guaranteed Summoning that allowed players to combine&nbsp;Mystery, Ancient, Void and Sacred shards to attain Fragments for the&nbsp;Shadowkin Legendary Champion. To complete the fragment event it required 10,000 Summon rush points. If you pulled an individual type of shard for this you would need either 20 Sacred, 500 Ancient, or 10,000 Mystery shards. Seeing as Michinaki is not a void champion I would not&nbsp;pull void shards for him to complete this event but it would cost roughly 84 Voids if you only pulled Void shards.&nbsp;

Pulling shards during a guaranteed summoning event does not reset your Mercy Counter. If you happen to summon the Guaranteed champion before you reach the specified number of shards the event will end. Below is a list of the all&nbsp;RAID Shadow Legends Guaranteed Champions.

The requirements for&nbsp;to complete the guaranteed events have increased over time. To be properly&nbsp;it is best to have more than the previous required amount.&nbsp;

Requirement to complete Legendary&nbsp;Guaranteed Champion Event:

Minimum of 180 Ancient Shards (Alsgor Crimsonhorn was the latest and highest in terms of cost)

Minimum of 110 Void Shards

Minimum of 20 Sacred Shards

Requirement to complete Epic Guaranteed Champion Event:

Minimum of 40 Ancient Shards

Minimum of 40 Void Shards

Minimum of 4 Sacred Shards

A FREE Legendary Champion coming to RAID Shadow Legends as part of the&nbsp;<a href="https://aftershockunited.gg/raid/blog/raid-s-call-of-the-arbiter-series-breakdown" target="_blank">Call of the Arbiter</a>&nbsp;promotion which has just started over on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@RaidShadowLegends" target="_blank">Raid’s Official YouTube Channel!</a>

Ninja, Alexandr, Deliana, Ultimate Deathknight, Ronda and now Artak! This is the SIXTH Free Legendary Login event we’ve had so far and it’s as simple as it sounds! As long as you login for 7 days during the active promotional period (May 18th to July 23rd) you will get this brand new FREE Legendary champion.

Artak along with other champions joining the game soon, will be a character from the Call of the Arbiter series, which will be releasing new episodes every week for a total of 10 episodes! Each episode will also give the chance to all viewers to get some free rewards through the Code Chase and viewership milestones (500k views on each episode). Looking at Artak’s kit, it's all about HP Burn! Every single skill Artak has can apply an Area of Effect Attack (AOE) which can be HUGE for locations such as Hydra Clan Boss and the Spider Dungeon. If that was not enough, you can additionally use him as a crowd control champion by utilizing a stun set or provoke set.

Artak is HP based, so keeping him away from danger during battle shouldn't be that hard. This allows for more freedom in cranking up the damage potential of your team in any place you are using him!

Unlike other daily login champions (Ninja, Ronda, and Alexander),&nbsp;Artak can be acquired through shards (Ancient and Sacred) once the daily login Loyalty Program ends.

<h3>Chaosrazor (A1)</h3>

Attacks all enemies. Has a 35% chance to extend the duration of any [HP Burn] debuffs on each target by 1 turn.

Cooldown: 4 Turns

Attacks all enemies. Before attacking, instantly activates any [HP Burn] debuffs on each enemy. 
Has a 75% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.

Cooldown: 4 Turns

Attacks all enemies 2 times. The first hit has a 75% chance of placing an&nbsp;[HP Burn] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns. 
Restores this Champion’s destroyed MAX HP by 10% for each [HP Burn] debuff placed by this skill. 
Heals this Champion by 5% of their MAX HP for each [HP Burn] debuff attempt blocked or resisted by the enemy team.

<h3>Burning Blood [Passive]</h3>

Whenever an&nbsp;[HP Burn] debuff is activated, destroys this Champion’s MAX HP by 5%. Stacks up to 50%. 
Increases this Champion’s DMG, C.DMG, and DEF by 1% for each 1% of their destroyed MAX HP. 
Also, increases this Champion’s SPD and RES by 2 for each 1% of their destroyed MAX HP.
